Surviving are her husband, Edward; a son, Edward Williams III of Jersey City; a daughter, Jeannine McGuire of Sayreville; a brother, Andrew Zahn of North Bergen; a sister, Geraldine Hendricks of Carlstadt; and two grandchildren. Andrew "Andy" Mehes
Mr. Mehes, 76, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died July 17 in Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Prior to his retirement in 1987, he was employed by DuPont Fabric and Finish Division, Parlin, where he worked for 35 years. Surviving are his wife, Lucy Erbetta Mehes; three brothers, Steven of Woodbridge, George of Metuchen and Lester of Edison; three sisters, Betty Fesco of Perth Amboy, Julie Rubarski of Metuchen and Lillian Susko of the Sewaren section of Woodbridge; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Bernadette’s Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Interment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville.

Mr. Wagner, 91, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died July 18 in Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College, Pa. His wife, Hildegard Klingman Wagner, died in 1990, and a son, Alfred Wagner Jr., died in 1998. Surviving are three sons, Lothar Wolfgang Wagner, William Wagner and Ralph Wagner, all of Parlin. Mrs. Soccodato, 59, of Sayreville died July 15 in JFK Medical Center, Edison. She was a registered nurse at JFK Medical Center for the past 10 years. Prior to that, she worked at St. Peter’s Medical Center, New Brunswick. Surviving are her husband, Nicholas J. He was predeceased by his wife, Eileen Lane Krzyzkowski. Mrs. Haag, 86, of Citra, Fla., formerly of Sayreville, died July 14 in Sylvia House Hospice, Ocala, Fla. Prior to her retirement, she worked for many years as a cafeteria worker for the Sayreville school system. Her husband, John C. Haag, died in 1990. Surviving are a son, Dennis J. Haag of Millstone and Ocala, a retired Sayreville attorney; a son, John W. Haag, a retired member of the East Brunswick Police Department; four granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Potts, 94, of Bayville, formerly of Sayreville, died July 18 in Community Medical Center, Toms River section of Dover. His wife, Stella Stefanski Potts, died in 1997. Surviving are three sons, Leroy Potts of Middlesex, Richard Potts of Bayville and Alan Potts of Sayreville; two daughters, Marlene Potts of Roselle Park and Geraldine Eichenlaub of California; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
