Obituaries Charles Lambiase

Mr. Lambiase, 82, of Monmouth Beach died July 10 at his daughter’s home in Fair Haven. Born in Philadelphia, he resided in West Berlin, N.J., Atco and Rumson before moving to Monmouth Beach. Mr. Lambiase was the retired owner and operator of a food establishment in West Berlin. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War. He enjoyed drumming, singing, and time with his family. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Ingham. Mr. Lambiase is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Dary and Michael Derchin of Fair Haven; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Anna and Nick Rosato of Atlantic City, Terry and Marty Riley of Melbourne, Fla., and Rita and Les Frish of Avalon; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gates and Eleanor Lambiase of Mount Laurel, and Carmen and Patty Lambiase of Berlin, N.J.; two granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held July 24 at noon at John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. Ann Marie Porskievies

Mrs. Porskievies, Rumson, died July 16 at home. Born in Rumson, she was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Porskievies was a homemaker. She was a communicant of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Rumson. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Edward J. Porskievies Sr., in 1994. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Edward J. and Angela Porskievies Jr. of West Long Branch; a daughter and son-in-law, Ann "Cindy" and John Marione of Middletown; a brother, Harry Leo of Eatontown; and five grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Holy Cross Church. Interment was at Woodbine Cemetery Mausoleum, Oceanport. The John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank, was in charge of arrangements.

David Paul Luker

Mr. Luker, 72, of Onancock, Va., and formerly Fair Haven, died July 9 at home. He was a lifetime member of the Fair Haven Fire Department and First Aid Squad. He served with the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Luker was predeceased by a brother, James Luker, in 1986; and a sister, Ethel Luker Becker, in 1996. He is survived by two sons, David Caleb Luker of Monmouth Beach, and James John Luker of Neptune; two daughters, Beth Ann Fuschetti of Little Silver and Tammy Lynn Bullivant of the Lincroft section of Middletown; a sister-in-law, Beverly Luker of Middletown; and four grandchildren. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. Memorial donations may be made to Fair Haven Fire Department, River Road, Fair Haven 07704.

Paul Billick

Mr. Billick, 87, of Middletown died July 16 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He resided in Middletown the past 56 years. Mr. Billick was employed in civil service at the Pentagon, Washington, D.C., retiring in 1974. Prior to that, he was employed at Fort Huachuca, Sierra Vista, Ariz., from 1968-71; Fort Monmouth from 1948-68; and at various other positions. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a communicant of St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church, Lincroft section of Middletown. Mr. Billick was predeceased by four brothers, and a sister. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Stella Bonar Billick; a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Cindy Billick of Phoenixville, Pa.; a daughter, Theresa Weber of Long Branch; and two grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Leo the Great Church. Interment was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. The John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank, was in charge of arrangements.
