Betsy A. Errickson, 86, died July 22 at Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington.
Born in Hanover, Pa., she had resided in the Harbourton area for many years.
She was a graduate of State Teachers College in Millersville, Pa., and John Hopkins Hospital School of Nursing in Baltimore, Md., Class of 1947. She was director of the School of Nursing in Princeton Medical Center for many years and was a member of U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps., serving from 1944-1954 as a 2nd lieutenant.
Daughter of the late Sheldon K. and Stella L. Brown Abel, she is survived by her husband, Harry J. Errickson; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jon T. Errickson of Stockton and Guy A. and Pamela Errickson of West Amwell; two daughters and sons-in-law Karen E. and Richard A. Potts of Harbourton and Beth E. and Darrell E. Sears of Lincoln University, Pa.; 10 grandchildren, Kevin and his wife Suzanne, Matthew and Kristin Potts, Hannah, Jacob and Sarah Sears, Albert, Adam, Andrew Errickson and Zachary Errickson; and a great granddaughter, Lauren Gibson.
Funeral services will be held today (Monday) at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 1608 Harbourton-Rocktown Road, Harbourton, with the Rev. Stephen Gewecke, pastor officiating.
Burial will be in Harbourton Cemetery.
There are no calling hours.
