Dorothy J. Miller, 96, of South Hero, Vt., and Pennington died today (Monday) in South Hero.
Born in Trenton, she was the daughter of Arthur and Francis (Shadell) Jefferies. She was a longtime Pennington resident.
Wife of the late Samuel R. Miller, M.D. she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Stan Butcavage; a son and daughter-in-law, S. Robert and Maureen Miller; and five grandchildren, David and Robert Butcavage, Samuel and Jay Miller and Molly Kukon and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Blackwell Memorial Home, 21 N. Main St., Pennington, with the Rev. David D. Prince, interim Executive Presbyter of Hudson River Presbytery, officiating.
Interment will be in Pennington Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
