Obituaries Mary R. Horan Maglione

Mrs. Maglione, 75, of Union Beach died July 25 at home. Born in Matawan, she resided there prior to moving to Union Beach 45 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a communicant of and member of the Altar Rosary Society at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Union Beach. She is survived by her husband, Charles Maglione; a daughter, Mary Reilly of Middletown; four sons, Charles Maglione and Dan Maglione, both of Union Beach, Anthony Maglione of Hazlet, and Richard Maglione of Forked River; two sisters, Martha Helpin of Marlboro, and Pat Clouky of Middletown; a brother, Dan Horan of Woodbridge; and three grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be July 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church. Arrangements are by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.

Lottie B. Kozup

Mrs. Kozup, 89, of North Brunswick, died July 15 at St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., she resided in North Brunswick since 1955. She was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin Roman Catholic Church, New Brunswick. She was a member of the North Brunswick Seniors. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Kozup, in 1980. She is survived by two daughters, Marlene Kane of Edison, and Rose Marie Cipko of Clinton, Conn.; a son, Michael J. Kozup of Boiling Springs, Pa.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church. Entombment was at Franklin Memorial Park Mausoleum, North Brunswick. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.

Andrew "Andy" Mehes

Mr. Mehes, 76, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died July 17 in Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Prior to his retirement in 1987, he was employed by DuPont Fabric and Finish Division, Parlin, where he worked for 35 years. Surviving are his wife, Lucy Erbetta Mehes; three brothers, Steven of Woodbridge, George of Metuchen and Lester of Edison; three sisters, Betty Fesco of Perth Amboy, Julie Rubarski of Metuchen and Lillian Susko of the Sewaren section of Woodbridge; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Bernadette’s Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Interment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville.

Dorothy A. Mull

Mrs. Mull, 72, of Old Bridge died July 15 in Maine. Surviving are her husband, Raymond Mull; four sons, Raymond Mull of Manchester, Robert Mull of the Jacobstown section of North Hanover, James Mull of Lakewood and John Mull of Freehold; a daughter, Linda DiSalvo of Fuquay-Varina, N.C.; a brother, Charles Kuhlman of Indwell, N.Y.; a sister, Nancy Kuhlman of Canandaigua, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A Holy Eucharist was offered at St. George’s Episcopal Church, Helmetta. Interment was in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover.

Thomas J. Ust

Mr. Ust, 58, of the Morgan section of Sayreville, formerly of South Amboy, died July 16 at home. He was predeceased by his father, Julius Ust, and by his stepfather, George French. Surviving are his mother, Wanda Bodziak French of Morgan; two brothers, Julius Ust of South Amboy and John Ust of Morgan; a stepbrother, George French of Helmetta; two nieces, Kathy Ostrander and Donna Baszak; four great-nephews; and one great-niece. Services were held at Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy. Interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Sayreville.
