Mrs. Sokolowski, 83, of Eatontown died July 24 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Jessup, Pa., she resided in Sayreville and South River before moving to Eatontown several years ago. Mrs. Sokolowski was a homemaker. She was a parishioner of St. Dorothea’s Roman Catholic Church, Eatontown. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Sokolowski, in 2002; and infant twin daughters, Carol Ann and Donna Marie. Mrs. Sokolowski is survived by a son, Michael A. Sokolowski of Eatontown; a sister, Agnes Blaska of Manchester Township; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Roman Catholic Church, South River. Burial was at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, East Brunswick. The Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River, was in charge of arrangements.
Helen H. Wojouwodzki Stocker
Mrs. Stocker, 82, of Matawan, died Aug. 11 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Newark, she resided in Clark and Elizabeth prior to moving to Matawan several years ago. She was a floor girl at Salmon Paper Box Co., Matawan, for three years, retiring in 2002. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Senior Citizens. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Wojouwodzki. She is survived by a daughter Barbara Stocker of Morganville; and a son, Douglas Stocker of Matawan. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Joseph’s Church, with interment was at the church cemetery. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
