Jeremy Craig Markman, age 33, of Oceanside, Long Island, New York, died Aug. 2, 2004, at NYU Medical Center, New York City. Born in Plainfield, he lived in Fanwood and Edison before moving to Oceanside nine years ago. He was vice president and founding partner of Mentorcom Systems Inc., a computer consulting company in Long Island and Westchester County. Previously he was IT Manager for IMI Systems Inc., Melville, New York. Mr. Markman graduated from JP Stevens High School in Edison, class of 1988, Lehigh University with a BA in computer science. He earned his masters degree in business administration from Hofstra University. He is survived by his wife Stacey (Glanstein), who is expecting their first child in October, his parents, Edward and Sondra Markman of Edison, and his brother, Arthur Markman of Austin, Texas. Also surviving are his nephew, Lucas Markman, and his maternal grandparents, Emanuel and Libby Gold of Long Branch. The funeral took place at Temple Neve Shalom, in Metuchen. Interment was at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge. Arrangements were by Flynn and Son Funeral Home, Metuchen. TinaMarie Richardson
Ms. Richardson, 36, of Sayreville died Aug. 18 in Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, New York City. Surviving are her mother, Sandra Knapp of Sayreville; her father, Richard Richardson of Massachusetts; a brother, Richard Richardson of the Beechwood section of Island Heights; her maternal grandfather, Anthony Pandolfo of the Iselin section of Woodbridge; her paternal grandparents, Jean and Charles Cooper of Florida; and two nephews. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Cremation was private. Patricia Dingwall
Ms. Dingwall, 45, of Sayreville, formerly of Metuchen, died July 29 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. She worked as a bartender in the Sayreville area. Her father, James Dingwall, died in 1991. Surviving are her mother, Christel Dingwall of Manalapan; a brother, James Dingwall of Evergreen, Colo.; a sister, Diane Vranich of St. Louis; and two nephews, Michael and Christopher Vranich. A service was held at Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold. Interment was private.
John C. Woods
John C. Woods, 82, died July 21, 2004 at Alhambra Nursing Home, St. Petersburg, Florida. He was born in Perth Amboy and graduated from Perth Amboy High School in 1939. He moved to Florida in 1984. He was a boiler-maker for Chevron Oil Co. before he retired. He was previously employed by the Perth Amboy Dry Dock. He was predeceased by his wife, Hazel Dean Woods on Sept. 11, 1999, and his parents, John L. and Edna K. Woods. He is survived by his sons, William F. Woods of Sewaren; John R. Woods of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his sister and brother-in-law Edna and Donald G. Roder of Woodbridge; his nephew, Donald D. Roder of Piscataway and niece, Nanci Deverin and her husband Jeffrey, of Sayreville; two grandnephews, Jeffrey and Jonathan Deverin, and three grandchildren, Daneen Matulewicz, and Deborah Woods and Robert Woods of Carteret. Funeral arrangements were by Anderson, McQueen of St. Petersburg, Florida. Cremation and interment were private.
George E. Edgley Sr.
George E. Edgley Sr., 85, of North Brunswick, died Aug. 13 at home. Born in England, he resided in the Fords section of Woodbridge prior to moving to North Brunswick five years ago. He was a retired distributor at North Jersey Dairyland, Newark. He was predeceased by his wife, Ann Witboldt Edgley, and a son, George E. Edgley Jr., both in 1993. HE is survived by four daughter and sons-in-law, Patricia and Harry Stilwell of Cape Coral, Fla., Debbie and Peter Hines of Robbinsville, Barbara and Gus Peterson of Edison, and Valarie and Michael Marinaro of Somerset; a son, Ed Edgley of Lumberton; a daughter-in-law, Heidimarie Edgley of Pine Beach; two brothers, Hank Edgley of Harlingen, Texas, and John Edgley of Fresco, Pa.; and six grandchildren. Roger E. Selznick
Mr. Selznick, 65, of East Brunswick died Aug. 4 at home. A certified public accountant, he was a partner in Lipman, Selznick and Witkowski, Edison, for the past 40 years. Surviving are his wife, Lynn Samson Selznick; a daughter, Holly Spector of the Skillman section of Montgomery; two sons, Brian of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Lee of Durham, N.C.; and five grandchildren. Services were held at Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Interment was in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
