Mary C. "May" Yetman
Mrs. Yetman, 86, of Freehold Township, died Aug. 23 at home. Born in Long Branch, she grew up and resided in Red Bank before moving to Freehold Township. Prior to retiring, she worked as a dietitian at Freehold Area Hospital (now CentraState Medical Center), Freehold Township, and was previously a secretary for the Brockway Glass Co., also in Freehold Township. Mrs. Yetman was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Freehold, and had also served for many years as a Girl Scout leader. She was predeceased in 1977 by her husband, Chester Yetman. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Gus Dreyer of Manalapan, and Cathy and Robert Womack of Freehold Township; a brother, Harry Greenwood of Red Bank; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan. Mr. Baccichi, 70, of Freehold Township died Aug. 23 at home. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., he resided in the Cliffwood section of Aberdeen before moving to Freehold Township 42 years ago. He was sales manager at Ditch Witch, Manalapan, where he was employed for the past 15 years. Prior to that, he was employed at Raritan Copper, Perth Amboy, for 21 years. He served with the U.S. Army from 1956-58. Mr. Baccichi is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Jessica Baccichi of Brick; three daughters and one son-in-law, Denise Baccichi of Freehold Township, Lisa Sherman of Brick, and Renee and John Sorensen of Hazlet; and four granddaughters. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold, with burial at the parish cemetery, Freehold Township. Mrs. Davison, 90, of Ocean Grove, died Aug. 23 at home. Born in Jersey City, she had lived in Englishtown for most of her life before moving to Ocean Grove. Prior to retiring, she was a school bus driver for the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District. She was a member of Garden State Baptist Church, Old Bridge, and the Battleground Historical Society, Tennent section of Manalapan, as well as a former member of the Sanford Memorial United Methodist Church, Englishtown, where she also served as an organist, Sunday school teacher and member of the Methodist Women’s Society. Mrs. Davison was predeceased by her husband, Oscar L. Davison, in 2001 and a sister, Jennie Schall. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Gloria D. and Charles W. Wilkins of Pocomoke City, Md.; a son and daughter-in-law, Susan M. and Duane O. Davison of Freehold Township; a sister, Eleanor Vitola of Toms River; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cordero, 94, of Freehold Township, died Aug. 25 at The Manor, Freehold Township. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she had lived in New York City for 60 years before moving to Freehold Township. She was a former communicant of St. Margaret’s Church, Riverdale, N.Y. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Lydia and Richard Gonzalez of Freehold Township; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church, Freehold Township, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
