Fall RV show to be held at Convention Center

  • The 16th annual fall New Jersey RV show, which will run Oct. 8-10 at the New Jersey Convention & Exposition Center (at Raritan Center) in Edison, will feature more than 200 recreational vehicles (RVs) from approximately 50 manufacturers and exhibited by dealers from throughout the New Jersey and metropolitan New York area. The show’s exhibits will also include the latest models of travel trailers and fifth-wheel and park models, as well as some new versions of the classics. In addition, representatives of campgrounds, finance and insurance companies, and others who serve the recreational public will be on hand to answer questions.
  • Show hours are 1-10 p.m. Oct. 8; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 9; and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 10.     Author to visit Temple Emanu-El on Oct. 17

    Novelist Paula Marantz Cohen will speak at Temple Emanu-El, 100 James St., Edison, at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 17. A professor at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Cohen is the author of “Jane Austen in Boca” and “Much Ado About Jessie Kaplan,” both of which will be available for purchase and signing. The program, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the temple’s Friends of the Barbara Kern Memorial Library.
