SOUTH BRUNSWICK Virginia "Ginny" Inez Gaissert died Tuesday at Easton Hospital, Easton, Pa.
Born in New York City and raised in Staten Island, she moved to the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick in 1958.
She worked several years at University Medical Center at Princeton.
She graduated from Tottenville High School and the Baby Nursing Program at New York Foundling Hospital.
She was an active member of the Kingston Presbyterian Church and participated in the vocal and handbell choirs.
She enjoyed music, art and dancing, and was an active member of several local square dance clubs.
She is survived by her husband Alfred Gaissert Sr. of Hendersonville, N.C.; children and their spouses Alfred Jr. and Mary Gaissert of Edison, Gail and Robert Schmitt of Kendall Park, Stephen and Susan Gaissert of Mercerville, Lynn Gaissert of Raritan, and Kenneth and Adrianna Gaissert of Pennington; and seven grandchildren.
The funeral was Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kingston Presbyterian Church, Kingston.
