Brian Wilson completes his masterpiece well, sort of.

"Smile" is the great lost Beachboys album, lost in the haze of Brian Wilson’s madness and drug addiction. And while that mythical disc will never resurface, Nonesuch has just a disc "Brian Wilson Presents Smile" that is likely to be as close as we will ever get to what Wilson had originally conceived. This review in The Nation offers some thoughts on the disc, including its disconnection in time.
