Agency extends thanks for school supply effort

Now that children are settled into their school year, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Monmouth County would like to acknowledge those who helped more than 100 children start off right with new school supplies.

Monmouth Mall gathered items from the public as well as hosted our “I’m Committed to My Education” pizza party where kids participated in an educational program and each received a backpack filled with supplies. Our sincere thanks to Monmouth Mall and all the individuals and businesses that made it possible, including Aramark, AT&T Pioneers, Freehold Noontime Optimists Club, Illiano’s, Ric Martel, Meridian Health, Mon-Oc Federal Credit Union, NJ Natural Gas Co., The Rugby School at Woodfield, Starbucks, 106.3 WHTG, and the United Way of Monmouth County, as well as all who donated supplies and money at the mall.

We thank you and the children of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Monmouth County thank you.
