The Jackson library, 2 Jackson Drive, has many free programs and events planned for the month of October.
At 1:30 p.m. Oct. 27, a presentation about Ichabod Crane, Washington Irving, and “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” will be presented by Neill Hartley at the library. Hartley will portray Irving in his one-man living-history program. As Irving, he will tell about his life and then narrate and act out scenes from “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.”
The Friends of the Jackson Library will meet Oct. 14 at 7 p.m.
