I believe, and I am sure many of you agree, that it is very important to have checks and balances in government. If you are thinking of casting your vote for Bob Kinsey in November, please consider the following information. A win for Kinsey gives the power base behind the current administration in Millstone Township a majority on the Township Committee for two straight years.
I have worked closely with the Regular Republicans in Millstone Township. I sat on the Millstone Township Republican County Executive Committee (RCEC) for a year and a half, and was vice chairperson of that committee for part of that tenure. The Regular Republican organization in Millstone Township is not a group to whom I recommend giving unrestrained municipal control. Whether or not Bob Kinsey is a great guy doesn’t factor into this equation.
As a 15-year resident of Millstone Township, and an active Republican, I am casting my vote for John Pfefferkorn. I have worked side by side with John on the RCEC and other committees, and find him fair, ethical, and honest. I have been impressed with the innovative ideas John presents in hopes of effecting positive change for all the residents in Millstone.
Did you know that it was John who creatively proposed a strategy which enabled the township to make the purchase of the land for the new school without increasing municipal debt or needing to collect more money from you, the taxpayers of Millstone Township?
This meant that your taxes were not raised in order to pay for the land on which the new school will be built. This is just one of the many innovative ideas John has presented on our behalf. I have seen John referred to as the “advocate of the people” here in Millstone Township, and I think that is a very befitting endorsement. John works for us.
Let’s be sure that our voice continues to be heard “downtown.” Let’s make sure that there is a voice of reason, protecting the average resident here in Millstone Township. I encourage you to vote for John Pfefferkorn on Nov. 2, the candidate focusing on the bipartisan issues affecting all of us in this wonderful community.
