Kimball Medical Center’s Foundation thrift shop, Lots for Little, Lakewood, needs volunteers and day managers. According to a press release, retirees with retail experience are ideal people to have join the thrift shop family. Proceeds from the thrift shop support the Kimball Medical Center Foundation, which funds healthcare improvements and expansions for Kimball Medical Center. The shops give members of the community a chance to donate “almost new” items for area residents to shop for clothing, household items and furniture at reasonable prices. Members of the Kimball Medical Center Foundation Auxiliary Units and the surrounding communities show their support for the shops by volunteering as managers, markers and cashiers.
