Halloween costumes will be collected from through Oct. 20 and will be distributed to children in Ocean County. The costumes may be dropped off at The Family Health Center, 301 Lakehurst Road, Toms River; Big Brothers Big Sisters, 85 Williams Street, Lakewood; Vetgroup, 103 Route 9 and Lacey Road (little blue house), Forked River; Dottie’s House, 1508 Beaver Dam Road, Point Pleasant; 2141 Route 88 East, Brick; and the United Way Office, 1144 Hooper Ave., Toms River.

Brick Elks Auxiliary to host Atlantic City trip
The Brick Elks Auxiliary will host a bus trip to the Hilton Hotel casino in Atlantic City, Oct. 18. The cost of the trip is $15 with a coin return of $17.
