In the Scarlet Knights’ pervious game with St. John’s on Oct. 6, Rutgers recorded the sixth tie in the 16-match series between the arch rivals. Simi, an East Brunswick grad, found himself open at the top of the box late in regulation, but his low shot was saved by Gaudette.
