Everyone who knew Jose Marrero knew what kind of person he was. He was a great person, always there to help someone in need. He did what he had to do on Sept. 11, 2001.
I want to send a thank you to everyone in the Old Bridge community — the mayor, the Old Bridge Police Department, St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, all my neighbors and everyone else who sent their thoughts and prayers to us and the rest of his family. It was, and still is, greatly appreciated.
