“New Holdings at Monmouth County Archives” will be the topic of the Nov. 14 meeting of the Monmouth County Genealogy Society. There will be a presentation made by Mary Ann Kieran from the Monmouth County Archives in Manalapan.
The meeting will be held at the Eatontown Community Center at 68 Broad St. in Eatontown at 2 p.m. Refreshments will be served at 1:30 p.m.

Beginning Oct. 27, the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey Hospice Program will offer a Hearts of Remembrance bereavement support group for adults who have lost loved ones at least three months prior to the start of the group.
The support group will meet on 12 consecutive Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at VNA’s Thompson Building, 141 Bodman Place in Red Bank. The group leader will be Nina Johnston, a mental health nurse.
Although there is no fee, a donation of $30 to VNA’s hospice program would be appreciated. For more information, call VNACJ hospice headquarters at (732) 493-2220.

Red Bank Elks Lodge No. 233, along with many other organizations, will participate in the borough-sponsored Veterans Day Services on Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at the Veterans Monument, 51 Monmouth St.
The Red Bank Regional High School band will participate in the program which includes placement of floral pieces at the monument by participating organizations. The principal address will be given by a member of the Fort Monmouth Military Command.
In case of inclement weather, the services will be held indoors at the Red Bank Elks Lodge, 40 W. Front St. Lunch will be served at the lodge following the services.
