Margaret M. Henahan

Mrs. Henahan, 81, of Freehold Township, died Oct. 11 at Kensington Manor, Toms River. Born in Newark, she had lived in Manalapan and Montclair before moving to Freehold Township 17 years ago. Mrs. Henahan was a sales associate for Macy’s, East Brunswick, for 16 years before her retirement in 1985. She was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church, Freehold Township. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Henahan, in 1990. Surviving are two sons, Kevin J. Henahan, of Howell and Edward J. Henahan, of Brick; five daughters, Kathy Strycharz, of Ewing, Susan Halbing, of Colonia, Nancy Attalla, of Howell, Maura Duffy, of Brick and Linda Miller, of Westfield; a brother, William Post, of Bloomfield; two sisters, Rosalie Pelosi, of Chatham and Marilyn Kenna, of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; and 18 grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, followed by interment at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

Charles Schwarzenberg

Mr. Schwarzenberg, 77, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Oct. 4 at the home of his brother and sister-in-law in Brick. He was the former owner and operator of Parlin Auto Body Shop. Most recently, he owned and operated Schwarzenberg Auto Sales, Parlin. Surviving are two brothers, Edward Schwarzenberg of Parlin and Donald Schwarzenberg of Brick; two sisters, Cecilia Weller of Parlin and Janet Talbot of Edison; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin.

Richard R. Leming Sr.

Mr. Leming, 62, of Old Bridge, died Oct. 10 at home. Prior to his retirement in April, he was employed as a warehouse checker and receiver with A&P Supermarkets, Edison, where he worked for 36 years. Surviving are his wife, Ethel; a son, Richard R. Jr. of Old Bridge; three brothers, Rudy, Frank and August; three sisters, Phyllis Bowman, Emma Burns and Lillian Pieper; and two grandchildren. Services were held at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge. Cremation was private.

Florence Sussman

Mrs. Sussman, 66, of Old Bridge, died Oct. 5 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to her retirement in 2001, she was employed as an executive secretary with United Auto Workers Local No. 2326 (formerly District 65), Woodbridge, where she worked for 27 years. Surviving are her husband, Bert Sussman, and a daughter, Tracy Sussman of Old Bridge. Graveside services were held at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
