Registration deadline Nov. 1 for ‘Cinderella’

  • Space is still available for the Monmouth County Park System’s trip to “Cinderella” performed by the New York City Opera Nov. 13, with registration deadline Nov. 1. The bus will depart Thompson Park, Newman Springs Road, Lincroft section of Middletown, at 10 a.m. and return at 5:45 p.m. (approximate).
  • The performance features a “rags-to-riches” story sung by characters to the music of Rodgers and Hammerstein. Cost is $110-per-person and includes orchestra seating, transportation and a Park System leader.

    ‘Halloween walk’ slated for Oct. 30, 31

    The property of Caroline and Max Soldi at 204 Poole Ave., Union Beach, will be a “Halloween walk” Oct. 30 and 31. The walk through of the front yard is free, and the Soldis will collect donations for the American Cancer Society.

    The couple and children are committee members for the Red Bank division of the American Cancer Society based in Shrewsbury. The walk features haunts and attractions for all ages. It was constructed by Soldi’s nephew, Robert Cusumano, and her son, Angelo Soldi. Individuals may stop by the display during the day or evening.
