Church plans bazaar, ham dinner, quilt raffle

Spotswood Reformed Church, 429 Main St. (across from the Spotswood Post Office), will hold its annual bazaar, ham dinner and quilt raffle from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 5 and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 6.

The events will feature toys, crafts, Christmas decorations, “trash and treasure,” raffles and a luncheonette.

Dinner will be served from 4:30-7:30 p.m. on Nov. 5 only. Takeouts will be available after 5:30 p.m. Admission is $10.50 for adults, $9.50 for senior citizens, $6 for children under age 12; youngsters under age 5 will be admitted free of charge.

The quilt drawing will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 6.

St. Thomas HSA sets Nov. 8 Card Party

St. Thomas the Apostle School HSA will hold a Card Party beginning at 8 p.m. on Nov. 8 in the school auditorium, Route 18 south, Old Bridge. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

The event will feature a large gift auction.

Admission is $15 and includes coffee and dessert, door prize entry, four prize table tickets and a goodie bag. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase. Participants are welcome to bring food. For more information and tickets, call (732) 679-5574.
