To the editor:
Ted Van Hessen, Lynda Woods Cleary and Roger Craig are all fine individuals who deserve to represent the citizens of South Brunswick on our Town Council. Moreover, the citizens of South Brunswick need their leadership, intelligence and honesty.
The other reason I’m endorsing Mr. Van Hessen, Ms. Woods Cleary and Mr. Craig is that they are not beholden to anyone or anything except the people of South Brunswick. They are not the handpicked candidates of an enormous political patronage mill. Their careers, businesses, homes and family lives belong to themselves, not an immense political machine that rakes in contributions by the armful in exchange for favors and appointments.
When you go to the polls on Election Day, remember the folks who don’t have the means to finance a slick media and image centered campaign. You know who they are. Just look for their names on the little gold signs.
