To the editor:
Last week, I sent The Cranbury Press a written version of the presentation I made at the recent "Candidates Night" sponsored by the Woman’s Club of Cranbury. You called and told me you would not print it, because it was too long, although you would have printed it if you had received it by some arbitrary date you had established. But that’s OK, because if you had printed it there would be the risk of my wining the election, which I don’t want to do.
My platform is based on those things no other candidate has put forward. Your personal goal is to talk about farmland preservation. That’s OK. Farmland preservation is very important, but there are real issues that are just as important. My platform is based on what the members of the committee are not doing. They are not paying attention to detail, not being decisive, not being responsive, being controlled by special interests, not having empathy and not controlling legal expenses.
