• Dec. 4-26 — “A Three Little Pigs White Christmas.”
• Dec. 5 — “Mr. Ray’s Holiday Party” at 1 p.m. Ray Anderson, a former guitarist with rock musician Meatloaf, performs original songs for children.
• Jan. 8-17 — “Goldilocks and the Three Bears,” the well-known tale with a contemporary twist, where the audience decides Goldilocks’ fate.
• Jan. 29-Feb. 26 — “The Ugly Duckling.”
• March 19-April 16 — “Pinocchio,” the classic tale of the wooden puppet who yearns to become a real boy.
• April 23 — “Great Scott! It’s Magic!” at 11 a.m. Assisted by animals, Scott Drukker performs magic and illusions.
• May 7-June 11 — “Treasure Island,” based on the book by Robert Louis Stevenson about a young boy’s adventure after he stumbles upon a map to find buried treasure. The production will feature performers using sign language and the spoken word.
A Kid’s Forum productions, which feature live music, are performed by professional actors. All musicals are recommended for children ages 2 and older. After each performance, cast members greet the children and are also available to sign autographs and pose for pictures. All seats are reserved. Organizations are encouraged to book early. In honor of World Community Day, the Metuchen-Edison chapter of Church Women United will sponsor the service “In Faith, Women Shape the Future for Peace” at 1 p.m. Nov. 5 at New Dover United Methodist Church, 687 New Dover Road, Edison. Women from Centenary United Methodist Church, Metuchen, will present the program. All women are welcome to attend. World Community Day is an inclusive, interfaith celebration in local communities around the nation where women of faith are called upon to make a difference.
Senior-citizen division to hold meetings, seminars
Edison Township Division of Senior Citizens Services Nov. 17 meeting will feature Dale Ofei-Ayisi, a licensed clinical social worker and coordinator of community services for Comprehensive Services on Aging (COPSA), University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). All are welcome.
The division is also offering a series of three seminars for new and prospective caregivers from 7-9 p.m. on Nov. 10 at the senior center. The seminars are free and will address the aging process, psychosocial dynamics of caregiving, resources for community programs and services, and strategies for successful caregiving and maintaining good health.
