“Microsoft Frontpage” will teach participants how to design a basic Web page, to use for business or to communicate with family. The course will be taught by Ed Tranosky on Tuesdays, Nov. 9-30, 7:30-9 p.m. The fee is $52.
“Basic First Aid” will include instruction on everyday first aid for cuts, sprains, burns, falls, insect bites and broken bones, and how to stabilize an injured person. Instructor Bob Trifiro, an emergency medical technician and American Heart Association-certified instructor, will conduct the one-session class Nov. 8, 7-10 p.m. The fee is $50.
Lessons in social or swing dancing will be offered on Thursdays, Nov. 11-Dec. 16 — from 7:30-8:30 p.m. for social dances, and/or 8:30-9:30 p.m. for swing. Partners are not required. The fee is $35 per person or $60 per couple.
“Women, Treat Yourself While You Update Your Look” will be presented by Dr. Marie Miczak, author of “The Secret of Staying Young: Age Reversal for Mind & Body,” Nov. 13 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Participants will receive an exfoliating facial plus a Hollywood-style airbrushed makeup application. Attendees should come with a “fresh face” and bring a towel and bag lunch. The fee is $40, plus a materials fee of $20 payable at class.
“Start Your Own Business” will include information on how to register a business, and set up bookkeeping, payroll, insurance and finances Bill Nunnally, small business development specialist, will conduct the class Nov. 13, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The fee is $50.
“Winter White Wreath” will offer instruction on creating an 18-inch wreath of artesmia, caspia, lamb’s ear, plumrose fern, baby’s breath, rice flowers, and white freeze-dried roses. Students should bring hammer, glue gun and sticks, and pruners. Melissa Rehl of Rehl Farms will teach the class Dec. 9 from 7-9:30 p.m. in the elementary school’s art room. The fee is $27.50.
“Superheroes and Superartists” is for ages 8 and older to turn their comic book superhero or cartoon doodlings into real artwork. Instructor Guy Dorian specializes in Manga (Japanese comic book characters) and has 10 years of teaching experience. The class will be held Nov. 17 from 6:30-9 p.m. in the middle school’s art room. The fee is $29.

Dinner-dance Nov. 13
to benefit CentraState
The Millstone Township Hospital Auxiliary of CentraState Medical Center will hold a Harvest Dance Nov. 13 from 7-11 p.m. at the Millstone Elks, Burnt Tavern Road, Clarksburg section of Millstone.
The event will include a buffet dinner, music and a cash bar. All proceeds will benefit CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Tickets are $20 per person.
