The South Brunswick Food Pantry is spreading a little holiday cheer to families in need.

Even though the deadline for families and individuals to submit holiday wish lists to the township’s holiday program has passed, the Department of Social Services is still accepting families in needfor its holiday program.
The program is run by the Department of Social Services.
Families interested in being "adopted" must bring proof of income to fill out a wish list.
So far all 94 families that applied for Christmas help have been adopted by local residents and businesses. Last year the Pantry helped 127 families, the largest number ever.
In addition, the pantry is still in need of donations and volunteers. Items such as canned hams, stuffing mix, dessert mix, cranberry sauce may also be donated for Christmas. Gift cards from Stop & Shop are encouraged.
Holiday gifts should not be dropped off until Dec. 8.
