Auditions

Brookdale Community College will hold auditions for its winter production of Paul Zindel’s “The Pigman.” Auditions will be held Nov. 29-30 from 6-10 p.m., and Dec. 5 from 7-10 p.m., at Brookdale’s Performing Arts Center, Lincroft (park in lot 1 or 2). Actors are requested to come prepared for cold readings from the script. Casting will be for six men, three women, and students of high school age. Performance dates are Feb. 26 and March 5 at 7 p.m., Feb. 27 and March 6 at 2 p.m., and two school-day matinees, March 1 and 3, at 10 a.m. Details: (732) 224-2411.

The Grange Theater will hold auditions Dec. 4 from 1-3 p.m. at the Manchester Inn, 25 Ocean Pathway, Ocean Grove. The auditions are for its Howell theater and for the new theater opening in Toms River, The Café Theatre. All ages are needed for an interactive rock ’n’ roll fairy tale, as well as for its Hitman Murder mysteries and the Marx Brothers’ comedy “Animal Crackers.” Also needed are 10 interns for an actors internship program that will include weekly master classes in acting and involvement in current productions. Spotlight Players will hold auditions for the thriller “Murder, My Sweet Matilda” Dec. 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Dec. 13 from 7-9 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Matawan, Route 34 and Franklin Street.
