The North Brunswick Public Library, 880 Hermann Road, will present the free “Baby-sitting Seminar” for youths age 11 and older Dec. 1, 8 and 15 from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
Participants will learn about toy safety, indoor and outdoor play, safety hazards, basic first aid, diapering and safe food choices. Certificates will be provided following completion of all sessions. Registration is required.
A “drop-in” storytime program for parents, and children age 2-3 will be held Dec. 2, 9 and 16 at 10:30 a.m. Registration is not required.
The South Brunswick Arts Commission will present an artist-in-residence program, “Art Goes Public,” Dec. 4 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the library. Resident artist will be pastel artist Sandy Behrend, and the public is invited to observe Behrend, a former teacher in South Brunswick elementary schools, at work. Her work has been exhibited throughout Central Jersey.
