Parent-teacher partnerships lead to strong educations

It is certainly appropriate that during American Education Week I publicly thank the staff and parents/guardians of North Brunswick for the partnerships that have resulted in the high-quality education program we offer.

Our faculty and support staff are not only experts in their areas of responsibility, they are also caring and dedicated professionals whose actions are focused on maximizing each students’ potential. When parents/guardians and staff establish strong partnerships between the home and school, the chance of success increases experientially. And North Brunswick enjoys many such partnerships.

For more than 30 years as an educator, I have served in four different school districts. None of them matches up with North Brunswick in terms of the quality of staff or the involvement of the parents/guardians. Despite growing pressure and increasing challenges, our focus remains on the individual student. In the end, we don’t teach curriculum, we teach children.

I am proud to work in a district where the norm is characterized by talent and dedication. North Brunswick is a very special place.
