Resident displeased by behavior of borough officials

Sayreville has a real problem with its governing body. I have gone to the town meetings a number of times with valid issues about my area, but to no avail. If I am not shut out, I am yelled at for trying to get my points across.

It’s not like my issues aren’t valid. One of the things I have complained about is how dangerous the intersection (Washington Road and Pulaski Avenue) near my residence is. There have been multiple crashes, one involving a school bus that still had children to drop off. There were also a couple of occurrences where an elderly pedestrian was hit trying to cross the street. Unfortunately, on one of these occasions the pedestrian was killed.

Our town officials need to be recalled. They focus on helping their friends more than they do the citizens of our community. Those who read this, please be informed that Borough Council President Thomas Pollando, as well as his superiors (including the mayor) need to vacate their positions in this town and be replaced with people who actually care.
