MANVILLE – Stephanie C. (Brown) DeBisco died Nov. 22 at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tenn. She was 34.
Born in Somerville, she moved to Hampton Township and then to Mountain Lakes before settling in Manville in 2003.
Mrs. DeBisco was employed as a special education teacher for the Bernards Township Board of Education for the past five years.
She was a member of the New Jersey Education Association.
She was inducted into the University of Southern Mississippi Sports Hall of fame for track and cross country in 1994 and was noted in Who’s Who in Athletics in American Colleges and Universities in the 1991-92 edition.
Surviving are her husband, John DeBisco; and a daughter, Marleigh Fruehling of Madison.
A funeral service was conducted Nov. 29 from Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial in Berkeley Heights, followed by a funeral Mass in Little Flower Church in Berkeley Heights. Entombment was in St. Mary’s Stony Hill Mausoleum in Watchung.
