John James Rota
   John James Rota, 47, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, at home.
   Born in Manhattan, N.Y., he resided in the Bronx, N.Y., Old Bridge and Monroe before moving to Jamesburg in 2003. He was a mortgage marketing representative for Metro Marketing in Freehold for the past three years. He was a communicant of St. James the Less R.C. Church, Jamesburg.
   His mother, Frances Iacono Rota, is deceased. He is survived by his daughter, Erica of Jamesburg; his father, Vito Rota of Manhattan; a brother, Joseph Rota of Manhattan; a sister, Lucille Lama of Lords Valley, Pa.; two nephews, Jerome and Jesse; a niece, Christine; and his ex-wife, Antoinette Rota.
   Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 20, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 north, Manalapan, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. James R.C. Church, Jamesburg. Burial will be at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
