Francis Pirozzi

   HILLSBOROUGH — Francis J. "Chicky" Pirozzi died Dec. 27 at home.
   He was born and raised in Manville and resided in Hillsborough for 28 years.
   Mr. Pirozzi worked for the family business, AT Company, in Manville until 1981. He also worked for the New Jersey State Department before joining the Martinsville Post Office as a rural carrier, retiring in 2002 after 14 years of service.
   He was an assistant leader of Boy Scout Troop 193 in Manville, was an area representative of YFU (Youth for Understanding International Exchange Program), and a member of ToughLove International.
   He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves.
   He was a communicant of Mary, Mother of God Church in Hillsborough and a member of the church prayer group.
   His mother, Mary Pirozzi of Venice, Fla., is deceased.
   Surviving are his wife, Sandra Pirozzi; a son, Francis III of Hillsborough; three daughters, Elizabeth and Donna Pirozzi of Hillsborough and Christine Marczak of Deltona, Fla.; a foster son, John Kissel of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren; his father, Francis Pirozzi Sr. of Venice, Fla.; a sister, Emma Henrickson of Florida; one uncle; many nieces and nephews and cousins.
   A funeral service was held Jan. 3 from Hillsborough Funeral Home in Hillsborough, followed by a Mass in Mary, Mother of God Church. Cremation was private.
