OBITUARIES: Barbara Geils

   Barbara Geils, 90, of Monmouth Junction, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Franklin Care Center, Franklin Park.
   Born in Viss, Hungary, she immigrated to the United States with her family in 1922, obtaining United States citizenship as a young adult. She was married in 1934 and had been a resident of Monmouth Junction since 1948.
   Ms. Geils retired in 1978 as a seamstress. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Princeton, where she was a former Sunday school teacher and former choir member.
   She was a member of the South Brunswick Senior Citizens.
   Her husband of 60 years, Henry Geils, is deceased. She is survived by her son, Donald B. Geils of Belle Mead; a daughter, Helen D. Geils of Ellsworth, Maine; a sister, Theresa Scurato of Monmouth Junction; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
   Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 3, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 407 Nassau St., Princeton. Burial followed at Oaklawn Cemetery, Monmouth Junction.
