John Giordano, 82, died Jan. 5 in Henderson, Nev.
Born in New York, Mr. Giordano resided in Skillman for 22 years and Florida for 25 years prior to moving to Las Vegas, Nev.
He was an equipment operator for the State of New Jersey and later employed by the Hollywood Dog Track in Hollywood, Fla., before retiring.
Preceded in death by his parents Giuseppi and Prudence Giordano and his son Daniel Giordano, he is survived by his wife Lucy Ronco Giordano; children Joseph Giordano and his wife Kathryn, JoAnn Ferdinando and her husband Clem, Frank Giordano and his wife Sally and Mathew Giordano; 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Alphonsus Church, Hopewell, with Fr. Dennis Apoldite officiating.
Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cromwell-Immordino Memorial Home, 71 E. Prospect St., Hopewell, 08525.
