Wilfred O. Taff
Wilfred O. Taff, 89, died Sunday, Dec. 19, at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
He was born in Waldron, Ark., and resided in Williamsburg, Va., before moving to Skillman, in July.
Mr. Taff graduated in 1939 from the University of Illinois with a master’s degree in chemical engineering. Mr. Taff retired in 1980 with over 41 years of service with the Exxon Corporation where he held various positions including director process research division, director products division and assistant manager of the Amuay refinery in Venezuela.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Eleanor Denhardt Taff; a son, David Taff of San Matteo, Calif.; four daughters, Laura Taff of Kingston; Alice Taff Childers of Juneau, Alaska, Jennifer Wheatley of Pipersville, Pa., and Amy Garibay of Eatontown; and four
grandchildren.
The Funeral services were held privately at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements were under the direction of the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, Monmouth Junction.
