Patricia Kellogg-Dennis
Dr. Patricia Kellogg-Dennis, 66, associate professor of English at Rider University, died Jan. 8 at Capital Health System Mercer in Trenton.
Born on Feb. 14, 1938, and raised in Long Island, N.Y., she moved to Princeton in 1970 and to Trenton in 1980. She earned a BA in English from Marymount Manhattan College and an MA from C.W. Post University. She received her PhD in Comparative Literature from New York University in 1975.
She was a member of the English faculty at Rider for more than 30 years. She began teaching as an instructor in the Evening School in 1971, and joined the English Department as a full-time faculty member in 1972.
Her poems and scholarly essays have been widely published and she was often invited to present papers at prestigious academic conferences throughout the world.
Daughter of the late Jack Rossworn and Gertrude Dilworth Rossworn, she is survived by her three sons, John and Kim Kellogg of Bexley, Ohio, Patrick Kellogg of Charlottesville, Va., and Peter and Denise Kellogg of Williamsburg, Va.; a step son, Philip and Louise Dennis of Yardley, Pa.; a step daughter, Susan and Gary Minster of Morrisville, Pa.; two sisters and brother-in-law, Sheila and Richard Bennitt of Asheville, N.C., and Kathy Thomas of Maine.
Grandchildren and great-grandchildren include Erin, Ian, Nicholas, Thomas, Jack, Teresa, Justin, Lindsey, Valerie and Danielle. Her husband, George F. Dennis, died at the age of 67 in 1999.
Family and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at 1 p.m. Friday at the Rider University Chapel. Father Bruno Ugliano will offer a brief reading, followed by eulogy and selected poems and readings.

Gerald Covello
Gerald R. Covello, 50, of Princeton died Jan. 6 as a result of an automobile accident.
Born in Newark, he lived in East Brunswick before moving to Princeton.
He was founder, president and chief executive officer of proServices Corp. of Trenton, a company that provides software quality assurance services.
He was the founder of the Cal Ripken Baseball League for 5- to 12-year-olds in Princeton, part of the Babe Ruth Baseball League. He also organized the Wood Bat League in Princeton and was working with the Princeton and Hightstown-East Windsor Babe Ruth leagues.
He is survived by his wife, Alison; daughters Stephanie and Christina; son Nicholas; and parents Elizabeth and Gerald Covello Sr. of Lawrenceville and Hollywood, Fla.
A Mass was held Tuesday at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, 214 Nassau St., Princeton.
Arrangements were by Hamilton-Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, Hamilton.
Eugene Wisniewski
Eugene M. Wisniewski, 74, died Jan. 4 at home surrounded by his family.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong resident of Lawrenceville.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1949 and was honorably discharged in 1954.
He was a licensed insurance agent and broker and was associated with Nationwide Insurance Company until opening his own independent agency in 1974 from which he retired in 1993.
He was the son of the late Frank and Katherine Posluszny Wisniewski, brother of the late Frank "Whitey" Wisniewski, and father-in-law of the late Gino Faiola.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Duignan; three daughters, Patricia Faiola, Nancy Wysienski and her husband Robert, and Kathleen Pasierb and her husband Mark; two sons, Eugene "Skip" Wisniewski and James Wisniewski and his wife Lorri; a sister, Geraldine Black; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Wisniewski; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were Saturday from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Trenton.
Entombment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, Hamilton.

Rosaria Loiacono
Rosaria Punturiero Loiacono, 93, died Friday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton, Hamilton Township.
Born in Pittstown, Pa., she resided in the Trenton area for the past 63 years.
She retired in 1957 after 10 years from Bay Ridge Speciality Company, North Trenton.
She was a member of Saint James Church and its Senior Citizen Club. She enjoyed being with her family, cooking, baking, and sharing recipes.
Daughter of the late Pasquale and Nicoletta Policare Punturiero, wife of the late Joseph Loiacono, mother of the late Rose Maruca, sister of the late Dominick, Vincent, Anthony, and Frank Pontrella and Josephine DeLia, Carmella Seamone, and Marion Zuccarelli, she is survived by a son, Pasquale J. Loiacono of Boynton Beach, Fla.; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary C. and Nelson J. Ivins of Lawrenceville; a sister, Cartherine Farsett of Trenton; a sister-in-law, Frances Pontrella of Morrisville, Pa.; three grandchildren, Maria Lynn Maruca, Domenic Maruca, and Joseph Maruca and his wife Janet; two great-grandchildren, Robert and Anthony Maruca; a special nephew, Harry Farsett Jr.; and many other nieces and nephews.
Christian Funeral service was Tuesday from the Brenna Funeral Home, 340 Hamilton Ave., Trenton.
Burial followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton Township.

Domenic Falconello
Domenic Falconello, 93, died Saturday at Merwick Nursing Home in Princeton.
Born in Yatesboro, Pa., he was a resident of Lawrenceville most of his life.
He was a self-employed roofer for many years. He was a member of St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church and an avid hunter.
Son of the late Samuel and Angelina Malina Falconello, he is survived by his wife of 70 years, Frances Modica Falconello of Lawrenceville; son, Samuel and wife Patricia Falconello of Jobstown; daughter, Angela and husband Michael Knorr of Columbus; grandchildren, Mark and wife Jacqueline Ricigliano, Samuel and wife Gabriella Falconello, and Robert Falconello; and six great-grandchildren, Andrew, Faith, Colton, Kiley Ricigliano, Bryant Falconello, and Yvette Cser.
Funeral services were Wednesday from the Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton.
Burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton.
