Frank Pannucci Jr., whose father, Frank Pannucci, serves on the Board of Education, was appointed to replace Bill McGuire as a full member on the Zoning Board at the council’s Jan. 4 caucus meeting. Pannucci Jr., Berkeley Drive, was originally appointed as a second alternate Jan. 1. That spot, formerly held by Michael Mastroserio, will now go to James Osborn, 16th Avenue.
Both Pannucci’s and Osborn’s terms will end Dec. 31, 2006.
During the Jan. 4 meeting, council President Ruthanne Scaturro said that McGuire resigned his position on the Zoning Board due to a busy work schedule.
Other appointments made to the Zoning Board on Jan. 1 were William Chandler and Daniel Toth, who were named to replace Harvey Langer and Nino Borelli. Toth and Chandler will each serve a four-year term that began Jan. 1 and ends Dec. 31, 2008.
Because Langer served as the board’s chairman, a new chairman will be chosen by the board at its next meeting.
