Andrew Papiez Jr.
HAMILTON Andrew Papiez Jr., 43, died Monday in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick surrounded by his family.
Born in Trenton, Mr. Papiez was a lifelong area resident.
He was employed at Pulaski Construction Company of Hamilton as the top heavy equipment mechanic.
He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church in Mercerville. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his daughter, Amber Lynn, and also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brothers and stepsons.
Son of the late Marie "Judy" Papiez, he is survived by his father, Andrew Papiez Sr.; his fiancee, Sonia; his daughter, Amber Lynn; two stepsons, Joseph and Drew; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Susan and Charles Commini of Lawrence and Brenda Papiez Barry of Waretown; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael Sr. and Joette Papiez and Eric and Judith Papiez, all of Hamilton; a mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lydia and Felipe Acevedo; three sisters-in-law, Maribel Acevedo of East Windsor, Rose and Dave Bonney of Ringoes and Suzanne and Geovanni Jiminez of East Windsor; seven nephews, Charles and John Commini, Louis III and Michael Barry, Jakob Papiez, Michael Papiez Jr., Dylan Bonney; a niece, Victoria Papiez; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 8 a.m. today, Friday, from the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9 a.m. from Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, 3816 East State St. Ext., Mercerville.
Interment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville.

Joseph A. Stevenson
HIGHTSTOWN Joseph A. Stevenson, 83, of Hightstown, died Tuesday in the University Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Atlantic City, he was a longtime resident of Central New Jersey before recently moving to Hightstown. He is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of WWII serving in the Guadacanal and South Pacific. Mr. Stevenson retired as a chemist for Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory.
He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Hightstown, the VFW, DAV and the American Legion.
Son of the late Alan A. and Margarite (Portley) Stevenson, father of the late James Denney Stevenson, brother of the late Alan A. Stevenson, he is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dana (Hughes) Stevenson; a son and daughter-in-law, Peter A. and Margarita Stevenson; two grandsons, Michael A. Stevenson and Juan Medina; a brother, William A. Stevenson; his nieces and nephews, Pamela Stevenson Casserly, Pamela Rainsford Langford, Christopher, Robert, Mark, Theresa, Linda, Sharon and Alan Stevenson.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated today, Friday, at 11 a.m. from St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 251 Maxwell Ave., Hightstown, NJ 08520.
Interment will follow in Church of the Assumption Church Cemetery, New Egypt.

Robert A. Calderone
CRANBURY Robert A. Calderone, 48, died Sunday at home.
Born in Niagara Falls, N.Y., he was a resident of Cranbury for the past 32 years.
Mr. Calderone was a graduate of Hightstown High and Middlesex School of Nursing. He was an LPN and formerly worked at Mercer County Geriatric Nursing Home. He was presently attending Middlesex County Community College.
He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed restoring old cars, and was a bass player and enjoyed music and gardening.
Brother of the late Thomas Calderone, he is survived by his parents, Albert and Ann Calderone of Cranbury; his sisters, Diane Hursh of Woodbridge, Va., and Pat Calderone of Hamilton Square; his brothers and sister-in-law, the Rev. Allen and Kim Calderone of Winters, Calif., and Richard Calderone of Cheektowaga, N.Y.; his aunt and her husband, Melba and Richard Rooney of California; his uncle, Tom Sauro of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; his niece and nephews, Amanda Hursh, Christopher, Micah and Andrew Calderone; and many cousins.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. today, Friday, at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury.
Interment will follow in Brainerd Cemetery, Cranbury.
Relatives and friends may call noon Friday followed by service at the funeral home.
Marie Louise Campbell
EAST WINDSOR Marie Louise Campbell, 89, of Meadow Lakes, died Jan. 4 in Meadow Lakes Health Care Center in East Windsor.
Born in Toledo, Ohio, Mrs. Campbell was a resident of Lake Park, Fla., for many years before moving to Meadow Lakes three years ago.
Mrs. Campbell was a member of the Friends of the Lake Park Public Library, Lake Park Public Library Volunteers, and the Palm Beach Diocesan Council of Catholic Women. She was past president of the Noreen McKeen Retirement Residence Auxiliary Volunteers in West Palm Beach, Fla.
She is survived by her husband, Carl L. Campbell of Meadow Lakes, Hightstown; her children, Steven and Susan Campbell of Woodstock, Ga., Carl and Cynthia Campbell of West Windsor, Christine and John McCuen of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and Mary Louise and Charles Hartman of Princeton; her brothers, James Weis of North Palm Beach, Fla., and the Rev. Earl Weis SJ of Chicago, Ill.; her sister, Ann Lackey of Export, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Mass of the Resurrection will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. David the King Roman Catholic Church, 1 New Village Road, West Windsor.
Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
Evening Prayer Service will be held 7-9 p.m. today, Friday, at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 N. Main St., Cranbury, and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Marie R. Kappel
MARLTON Marie R. Kappel (nee Rapp), 90, died Jan. 7.
Born in Westmont, she lived in Collingswood and Haddonfield until moving to Wiley Continuing Care Community in Marlton in 1991. She graduated from Collingswood High School and attended Duke University.
She was a homemaker most of her life, but also worked as a medical technician and manager of the gift shop at West Jersey Hospital in Camden. She was very active in the West Jersey Hospital Auxiliary for many years.
She loved reading, crossword puzzles, knitting and all kinds of needlework. She enjoyed summers at the shore, and then spending time with her friends at the Wedgewood Swim Club in Haddonfield.
Daughter of the late Robert and Vera Rapp, she was predeceased by her husband, William S. Kappel. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Roberta and Lynn Ericson of East Windsor; a grandson, Richard Feeny of Seattle, Wash.; a grandson and his wife, Glenn and Barbara Feeny of Wilmington, Del.; two great-granddaughters, Mackenzie and Paige Feeny of Wilmington, Del.; a sister-in-law, Mary Chappell of Cherry Hill; and three nieces and two nephews.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Wiley Church, 99 E. Main St., Marlton.

Robert S. Taylor
HAMILTON Robert S. Taylor, 69, died Sunday at home.
Born in Newark, Mr. Taylor was a resident of Yardville for 39 years. Robert was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Mr. Taylor retired from RCA Space Center in East Windsor after many years of service. Some of his hobbies included fishing, hunting, cooking and traveling.
Son of the late Charles and Stephanie Taylor, he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Bill Scully of Bordentown; three sons, Steven Taylor of Tampa Bay, Fla., Mark Taylor of New Brunswick and Dale Taylor of South Carolina; and two grandchildren, Christopher and Randy Scully.
Funeral services were held Thursday at the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown.
Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Robert’s memory to the American Heart Association, 625 W. Ridge Pike-A100, Conshohocken, PA 19428-1190.
