Robert Calderone
Robert A. Calderone, 48, of Cranbury, died Sunday, Jan. 9, at home.
Born in Niagra Falls, N.Y., he was a resident of Cranbury for the past 32 years. Robert was a graduate of Hightstown High School and Middlesex School of Nursing. He was an LPN and formerly worked at Mercer County Geriatric Nursing Home. He was attending Middlesex County Community College. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed restoring old cars. He was a bass player, and enjoyed
music and gardening.
His brother, Thomas Calderone, is deceased. He is survived by his parents, Albert and Ann Calderone of Cranbury; his sisters, Diane Hursh of Woodbridge, Va., and Pat Calderone of Hamilton Square; his brothers and sister-in-law, the Rev. Allen and Kim Calderone of Winters, Calif., and Richard Calderone of Cheektowaga, N.Y.; his aunt and her husband, Melba and Richard Rooney of California; his uncle, Tom Sauro of Niagra Falls; his niece and nephews, Amanda Hursh, Christopher, Micah and Andrew Calderone; and many cousins.
Funeral services will be held today (Friday), Jan. 14, at 1 p.m. at A.S. Cole Son & Co. Funeral Home, 22 North Main St., Cranbury. Interment will follow at Brainerd Cemetery, Cranbury. Relatives and friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. today (Friday) at the funeral home.
