MONTGOMERY — The Planning Board unanimously elected Steven Sacks-Wilner to again serve as its chairman during its annual reorganization meeting last week.
Mr. Sacks-Wilner will enter his fourth year as chairman. He has served on the board for the past five years. Beginning in the late 1980s, Mr. Sacks-Wilner served another four years on the Planning Board.
Mayor Louise Wilson said Mr. Sacks-Wilner is "professional, very respectful of everyone who addresses the board and extremely knowledgeable about land use and smart growth issues."
The mayor added that the re-elected chairman is "deeply committed to protecting the township’s natural resources and quality of life. You couldn’t ask for a better chairman and colleague."
Thomas Lee was also chosen to continue as the board’s vice chair. Ernest Willson was sworn in to serve another term. Newly elected Township Committeeman John Warms was appointed to the board, but was not in attendance at the reorganization to be administered the oath of office.
