Josephine Dramis
Josephine Romanelli Dramis, 75, died Sunday, Jan. 23, at home.
Born in Chicago, she lived most of her life in Jersey City and Bayonne before moving to Monmouth Junction three years ago.
She was a seamstress with the International Ladies’ Garment Workers Union, working for Janet Knitting in Jersey City for 15 years, until retiring. She was also a member of St. Cecilia’s R.C. Church, Monmouth Junction.
Her husband, Nicholas M., died in 1987. She is survived by two sons, Michael and his wife, Allison, of Monmouth Junction, and Gary and his wife, Karen, of Bel Air, Md.; a sister, Mary Romanelli of Monmouth Junction; and five grandchildren, Michael, Anthony, Alyssa, Alexandria and Arianna.
Funeral services will be held today (Thursday), Jan. 27 at 9:15 a.m. from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe.
A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Cecilia’s R.C. Church, Monmouth Junction. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
