BORDENTOWN CITY



   Stephen Tobin Jr., 29, of Bordentown was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) and paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and possession of a CDS in a motor vehicle at 10:59 p.m. on Jan. 19, police said.
   Police said a vehicle was seen driving south on Route 130/206, swerving from one lane to another. Police said that after the vehicle was stopped the driver, Mr. Tobin, told police he was driving with a suspended license. Police said officers smelled burnt marijuana during the stop and an investigation revealed the possible CDS in the car. Police said Mr. Tobin was released with a February court date.


BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP



   Police are investigating a report of a cracked glass door at the McDonald’s restaurant on Route 130 south that occurred during the early morning hours of Jan. 14.
   When the restaurant manager arrived at work at 5:15 a.m. on Jan. 14, she found the front glass door was cracked, police said. The manager from the previous night confirmed that the door was intact during her shift, police said.

   A Florence Township man was charged with assault and robbery after attacking a ShopRite employee outside a nearby vacant store on Route 206 at 4:21 p.m. on Jan. 11, police said.
   Jason M. Testa, 22, of West Fourth Street was charged by Bordentown City police on Jan. 13 at 2:23 p.m. for his alleged involvement in the attack two days before, police said. A 17-year-old juvenile who was also charged turned himself into Bordentown Township police, police said.
   According to police reports, the ShopRite employee was on break when Mr. Testa and the juvenile allegedly attacked him and demanded money. After causing bruises and scratches to his head, left elbow and right wrist, the two took $35 from the victim, police said. The victim’s minor injuries did not require medical treatment, police said.
   The juvenile was released, but Mr. Testa was turned over to Florence Township police on unrelated charges, police said.

   Police are investigating the theft of a door from a Sagamore Street house under construction in the Crystal Lake development sometime between 4 p.m. on Jan. 7 and 9 a.m. on Jan. 8, police said.
   The construction site manager reported to police that the door had been removed from its hinges, police said. Police did not observe any hardware or door screws present at the scene, police said. There was no other damage to the site other than the missing door, police said.
   The door is valued at $805, police said.
