Eugene J. Pacetta
   Eugene J. Pacetta, 79, of Monroe, died Thursday, Jan. 20, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.
   He was born in Far Rockaway, N.Y., where he lived until moving to Monroe 10 years ago. Prior to retiring 20 years ago, he was vice president of Chase Manhattan Bank, Queens, N.Y., where he worked for 44 years. He was a World War II Army Air Force veteran, and was past commander and current finance officer of American Legion Post 533, Monroe.
   Mr. Pacetta was a communicant of St. Bartholomew R.C. Church, East Brunswick. He was a member of St. Bartholomew Council 1873 Knights of Columbus, and General Stephen Moylan 4th Degree Assembly, Queens. A member of the Italian Club in Monroe, he organized and ran the Atlantic City trips for Greenbriar at Whittingham, where he lived.
   He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Anna DeNapoli Pacetta; two sons, Joseph of Flushing, N.Y., and Frank and his wife, Julie, of Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Carmelene Lanzano and her husband, Steve, of East Brunswick; a sister, Marie DeMata of East Islip, N.Y.; and five grandchildren, Frankie and Alle Pacetta, and Danny, Michelle and Tommy Lanzano.
   Funeral services were held on Monday, Jan. 24, at Brunswick Memorial Home, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bartholomew Church, East Brunswick. Interment with military honors will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Padavan Residence, 40-15 159th St., Flushing, N.Y. 11358 for the benefit of Mr. Pacetta’s son, Joseph.
