Raymond E. Doscher
Raymond E. Doscher, 84, of East Windsor, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in the Bronx, N.Y., he lived in Kendall Park before retiring to Port St. Lucie, Fla. He was an avid fan of the Port St. Lucie Mets. He was a World War II veteran and worked as a steamfitter for Steamfitters Local Union 638. He was a member of St. Augustine’s R.C. Church.
His wife Agnes died in 1999. He is survived by his a son, Thomas and his wife, Marjorie, of Monmouth Junction; three grandchildren, Christine Pitcherello of Plainsboro, Susan Hadeishi and her husband, Yuki, of Gardena, Calif., and Jon Doscher and his wife, Varsha, of North Wales, Pa.; a brother, Edward Doscher and his wife, Rita, of Kendall Park; and three grandsons and two nieces.
A memorial service will be private. Following his wishes, his body was donated to UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (1-800-GIFT-211).
