AROUND CRANBURY By Lorraine Sedor Library offers tons of activities, from movies to the Reading Buddies Club.

   The Cranbury Public Library presents high school movie night on Saturday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m. The feature film is "Mean Girls" starring Lindsay Lohan. Admission is free and refreshments are provided. This event is for high school students only, please.

   The Student Library Council (SLiC) of the Cranbury Public Library will meet on Sunday, Feb. 13, from 1-2 p.m.
   The Reading Buddies Club, one of the SLiC projects, meets every Wednesday at the library from 7-7:45 p.m. The club pairs elementary students with high school students who act as reading partners and mentors to improve the reading readiness of pre-readers, to improve the comprehension skills of school-age children and to promote a lifelong love of reading.

   The Brennan clan continues to grow. The family recently welcomed the addition of Oleg Spahr Brennan, born Feb. 3 to Natasha and Timothy Brennan of Park Place.
   Brothers Timothy and Paul are delighted with their new baby brother. Cousins Michael and Meghan Brennan and Uncle Frank and Aunt Beth of Main Street are equally pleased with Oleg’s arrival.
   Oleg is the fifth grandson and seventh grandchild for proud grandparents Frank and Peggy Spahr Brennan of Main Street. Ceili and Kevin Brennan of Westwood are Oleg’s other Brennan cousins.

   Patrick K. Barlow, son of Brad and Judi Barlow of Allentown, graduated from the New Jersey State Police Academy on Dec. 10. Trooper Barlow is a 1999 graduate of Allentown High School and a 2003 graduate of Seton Hall University where he received a bachelor’s degree in finance. Many in town will remember Patrick’s father, Brad, who grew up in Cranbury.

   Save the date: The Cranbury Historic Preservation Society’s spring potluck supper will take place on Friday, March 18. The evening’s entertainment will consist of an opportunity to bid on numerous items in both a live and a silent auction.
