May peace be with Ossie Davis and Arthur Miller.

First we lose Ossie Davis and then we lose Arthur Miller.
Titans of the theater and the arts in general, committed political activists, visionaries and risk-takers these two men in different ways helped usher in the best of what the latter part of the 20th century in this country had to provide.
Davis was a consummate actor, who seemed at home in everything from serious drama to small parts in televisions shows like "Evening Shade" and "The Cosby Show." His commitment to civil rights and the enlightenment of his fellow man will be missed.
Miller was one of America’s three greatest playwrights, a rare visionary who saw the flaws and failures of the American dream and turned the gap between our vision and our reality into compelling theatre.
