George Dikovicky
Mr. Dikovicky, 78, of South River, died Jan. 27 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Prior to his retirement in 1989, he was employed as a driver with the South River Sanitation Department, where he worked for 32 years. Surviving are a son, George Stan of Old Bridge; a daughter, Donna Kowalski of Edison; two sisters, Olga Drwal of Sayreville and Mary Martinowich of Piscataway; a brother, Anthony Dikovicky of Roselle Park; and three grandchildren. Services were held Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River. Interment was in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, South River.
William R. Pendleton Jr.
Mr. Pendleton, 87, of Freehold, died Feb. 8 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He had lived in Rahway before moving to Freehold in 1976. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He was predeceased in 1997 by his wife, Mary Pendleton. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Robert J. and Mary Ann Pendleton of Howell; a daughter, Donna A. Schwalje of the Fords section of Woodbridge; three grandchildren, Mark, Renee and William; and a great-grandson, Matthew. Funeral services were held at Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Anna “Annie” M. Johnson Reilly
Mrs. Reilly, 89, of Freehold, died Feb. 9 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born and raised in Wildwood, she had lived in Freehold for the past 44 years. Mrs. Reilly was predeceased by her husband, Joseph H. Reilly, in 1982; a son, Charles; a sister, Margaret Thompson; and three brothers, Gustav, Charlie and Amiel Johnson. Surviving are a son, Joseph H. Reilly Jr. of Freehold; a daughter, Gail A. Reilly of Tinton Falls and her partner, Dory Coe; a brother, Sigurd Johnson Jr. of Lake Hopatcong; and many friends. A funeral Mass was offered at Christ Church, Shrewsbury, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements. Eleanor Catherine Ingram Stoll
Mrs. Stoll, 88, of Freehold Township, died Feb. 9 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Jersey City, she had lived in Keansburg and Middletown before moving to Freehold Township. Prior to retiring 23 years ago, she was a licensed practical nurse at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, where she worked the night shift and was employed for more than 20 years. She attended the First United Methodist Church, Keansburg, and was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Monmouth Chapter No. 251, Atlantic Highlands. A former Girl Scout leader, she was also a member of the Keansburg PTA. Mrs. Stoll was predeceased in 2003 by her husband, Frederick Stoll. Surviving are three daughters, Arlene F. Cherry of Nesconset, N.Y., Carolyn Kacedon of Jackson and Janette Daly of Florence Township; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Francis J. Yurkovic
Mr. Yurkovic, 71, of North Brunswick, died Feb. 1 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Pottsville, Pa., he resided in Edison prior to moving to North Brunswick in 1977. He was a salesman at Sears, New Brunswick, for 20 years, retiring in 1990. He served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, North Brunswick. He was a former paramedic with the Edison Rescue Squad, and member of the North Brunswick Senior Citizens Club, and AARP Chapter No. 3885. He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Bielsky Yurkovic; two sons, Bill Johnson of North Brunswick, and Robert Johnson of Dublin, Ga.; five sisters, Sr. Marcelline Yurkovic of Bolivia, South America; Margaret Davidson of Bridgewater, Va.; Dolores Yurkovic of Chester; Rosemary Ryan of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and Regina Sergeant of Washington, Utah; three brothers, Michael Yurkovic of North Brunswick, Leonard Yurkovic of St. Michael’s, Md., and John Yurkovic of Allentown, Pa.; and three grandsons. Entombment was at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia section of Woodbridge. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
