Princeton Democrats plan candidate forum

The Princeton Community Democratic Organization invites the public to meet the Democratic candidates running in the June primary election at a forum Feb. 20.
The event will be at 7:30 p.m. at the Suzanne Paterson Senior Center, located behind Princeton Borough Hall near the intersection of Route 206 and Nassau Street.
The candidates invited to the forum are U.S. Sen. Jon Corzine, who is running for governor; state Assembly members Reed Gusciora of Princeton Borough and Bonnie Watson Coleman of Ewing; Mercer County Freeholders Tony Mack and Lucy Walter; and Mercer County Sheriff Kevin Larkin. Invitations will be extended to other Democratic candidates as they announce their intentions.
The forum will provide an opportunity for the public to meet the candidates and learn where each of them stands on the issues affecting the state and local community. A question-and-answer period and endorsement vote will follow the presentations. Those taking part in the endorsement vote must be Princeton Borough or Princeton Township residents and have paid their PCDO dues by Feb. 6.
   Refreshments will be served.
